You will arrive at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda and shall proceed to your scheduled flight to Kihihi Airstrip where you will meet your guide, then transfer to Bwindi Lodge. Bwindi Lodge is positioned on a hill exceeding the river, giving a perfect view of the flourishing rain forest. It’s a focal point for all tourists who love gorilla tracking and it’s the best place in the national park. The park is home to the endangered mountain gorillas, as well as chimpanzees and spectacular birds. There are 23 of the 24 Albertine Rift endemic bird species; including Blue-throated Broadbill, bar-tailed Trogon and other beautiful forest species. You shall go to bed earlier this evening, in preparation for gorilla trekking the following day.

You will have an early morning in preparation for the upcoming gorilla trekking. It will be a two-to-six-hour trek, and is well worth the effort as it is one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. You will be led by an experienced ranger who will tell you interesting facts about flora and fauna, and the lifestyle of the Gorillas. In the afternoon you may take a village or forest walk in Bwindi National Park.

Today you will get up early and once again go for a second trekking of the gentle giants. A thrilling trek through the Impenetrable Forest led by an experienced ranger Guide provides inspiring views in all directions. You will trek a different family and get to spend time watching the adults feeding their young ones, brushing and resting as the youngsters play from vines in a pleasurably playful display.

After breakfast, you will drive to Kihihi Airstrip and fly back to Entebbe enjoying the beautiful aerial view of South-Western Uganda, the hills and thick vegetation as well as the farming practiced by the locals. Upon reaching Entebbe, you will connect to your return flight home.
